Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Laura Velez moved to North Carolina to study at UNC Charlotte in Spring of 2022. Coursing two majors in Exercise Science and Dance, Laura hopes to create a safe, space where dancers understand the theoretical and practical studies of dance.
